Building Bridges: CRPA and CARST Join forces for the 2026 conference in Saskatoon
We are excited to announce that next year’s Canadian Radiation Protection Association (CRPA) conference will be hosted in partnership with the Canadian Association of Radon Scientists and Technologists (CARST) in the beautiful city of Saskatoon. CRPA and CARST have the common goals of protecting Canadians from radiation, promoting education opportunities, collaborating with other associations, and bringing members together to share the latest scientific updates and technical information.
Hosting the conference collaboratively will allow us to span a broader variety of topics while building bridges between our memberships to better share knowledge and advance awareness. Presentation topics will include the latest radon research, radiological incidents and emergency response, nuclear medicine, laser safety, uranium mining, and more.
Join us to update and expand your knowledge within your field, broaden your scope to adjacent fields, and return to work with new ideas!
The conference will also include tours of one-of-a-kind facilities:
- the Canadian Light Source (synchrotron)
- an active high-grade underground uranium mine
- a home radon mitigation system installation
(CARST’s field trip) - Come make connections and enjoy our prairie hospitality.
See you in Saskatoon!
