President’s Message, February 2024
I can’t believe my term is half over and we are already into 2024! It’s been a busy year for CRPA’s board, and many volunteers have been working hard.
This past fall was particularly busy with the undertaking of a website revamp, the conference committee planning future conferences, and the Registered Radiation Safety Professional (RRSP) committee holding successful CRPA(R) exams. These are, of course, on top of the many things our dedicated volunteers are always helping with, things like translations and communications (including this Bulletin!).
Now that we are in the new year, it’s time to start thinking about the makeup of the next board of directors and some rejigging of our committees. If joining the board or getting involved with one of our committees is something you might be interested in, keep an eye on your inbox for information about elections and opportunities or reach out to a committee chair.
Of course, these are member opportunities, so if you’re not already a CRPA member, this is a great time to join—new year, new membership!
