A Simulated Exercise on Radiological Medical Management Preparedness
The University Health Network’s Medical Emergency Radiation Incident Team (MERIT) provides 24-hour emergency service for radioactively contaminated and/or irradiated casualties. A simulated radiological accident scenario was conducted in October 2023 to test MERIT’s response capabilities.
