The 68th session of the United Nations Scientific Committee on the Effects of Atomic Radiation (UNSCEAR), which took place from June 21 to 25, 2021, was held virtually for the second year in a row due to the ongoing global COVID-19 pandemic.

The Meritorious Service Award recognizes significant services provided to the Canadian Radiation Protection Association (CRPA) or to the radiation protection community in general. This year there were two recipients: Carole Savoie and Jeff Fleming.

This will be a hybrid event held both virtually and in person in St. Louis, Missouri.
